Pip is Lime’s AI chatbot, available whenever you need help. The little green circle with a dog icon sits in the bottom left corner of your Lime app, ready to answer questions about how to use any feature.

Think of Pip as instant documentation - instead of searching through help articles, just ask your question and get an immediate answer.

Accessing Pip

Click the green circle with the dog icon anywhere in Lime. A chat window opens where you can type your questions.

How to Use Pip

  • Click the Pip icon
  • Type your question in the text box
  • Press Enter
  • Pip responds with an answer

That’s it. No navigating menus, no searching documentation, no waiting for email support.

What You Can Ask Pip

How-to questions:

  • “How do I add a tag to a contact?”
  • “How do I set a check-in schedule?”
  • “How do I create a new funnel?”
  • “How do I upload analytics?”

Feature explanations:

  • “What is Citizen Score?”
  • “What are Lime Boards?”
  • “What’s the difference between Comment and Chat?”
  • “What does the Archive notebook do?”

Strategy questions:

  • “How do I get the most from analytics?”
  • “What’s the best way to organize my network?”
  • “How often should I set check-in schedules?”
  • “What content types should I create?”

Troubleshooting:

  • “Why didn’t my connections import?”
  • “Why can’t I see my analytics?”
  • “How do I fix a check-in that’s not working?”

Pip understands natural language, so you don’t need to phrase questions perfectly. Ask the way you’d ask a colleague sitting next to you.

When to Use Pip

Quick questions while working: You’re in the middle of setting up a funnel and can’t remember how to add segments. Click Pip, ask, get the answer, keep working. No interruption to your flow.

Learning new features: You just discovered Thinking Cards and want to understand what they do. Ask Pip for a quick explanation before diving in.

Troubleshooting in the moment: Something’s not working the way you expected. Ask Pip what might be wrong instead of stopping to search documentation.

Strategy guidance: You’re not sure which check-in frequency to use for a connection. Ask Pip for recommendations based on relationship stage.

When you can’t find something: You know Lime can do something but can’t remember where the feature is. Ask Pip “Where do I find…” and get pointed in the right direction.

Tips for Getting Good Answers from Pip

Ask one question at a time: Pip handles focused questions better than multiple questions in one message.
Include context if needed: “How do I move someone between segments?” is clearer than “How do I move someone?”
Follow up if needed: If Pip’s first answer doesn’t fully address your question, ask a follow-up to dig deeper.
