Account Settings is where you manage your Lime account, preferences, and data. Payments are managed through Paddle, our payment provider, not within these settings.
Account Overview
At the top of the page, you’ll see:
- Membership duration: How long you’ve been a Lime member
- Connection count: Total connections saved in your Lime dashboard (this is not your LinkedIn follower or connection count - it’s everyone you’ve imported into Lime)
Settings Navigation
The settings menu appears on the left side.
Preferences
- Timezone: Set your local timezone for accurate date/time displays throughout Lime.
- Display mode: Choose how Lime appears visually:
- Light mode: Bright interface
- Dark mode: Dark interface
- System preferences: Automatically follows your computer’s system settings
Password & Security
Update your Lime account password. Enter your current password and new password to change it.
Subscription
Cancel your Lime subscription from this section.
Critical Warning: Canceling your subscription deletes all your data permanently. If you create a Lime account in the future, none of your previous data will be available - no activities, tags, segments, content, notes, connection information, or anything else. This deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Download Data
Export a complete copy of your Lime data for compliance, or personal records.
The export includes:
- All connections and their information
- Associated tags
- Activity logs (comments, DMs, chats, notes)
- Meta information and settings
Use this to create backups or satisfy data portability requirements.
Data Management
Warning: Data Management contains powerful deletion tools. Actions taken here are permanent and cannot be undone. Use your newfound power with caution.
Available actions:
- Keep tags but remove from all contacts: Preserves your tag list but removes all tag assignments from every contact. Tags remain available for future use, but no connections will have any tags.
- Delete all tags and remove from contacts: Permanently deletes every tag from your system and removes all tag assignments. Tags cannot be recovered.
- Remove contacts from segments: Remove all connections from funnel segments - either from individual boards or all boards at once. Connections remain in Lime but lose their funnel positions.
- Reset all check-in dates: Resets every connection’s check-in schedule timer to start from today. All connections on scheduled check-ins will be due based on today’s date, regardless of when you last engaged with them.
- Delete all dated reminders: Permanently deletes every dated reminder, including future reminders that haven’t been completed yet. All scheduled follow-ups disappear.
- Delete all imported posts and analytics data: Removes every imported LinkedIn post and all analytics data from Lime. Analytics dashboards will be empty until you re-import data.
- Delete all created content: Permanently deletes every content idea, draft, and completed post from Content Laboratory. All notebooks empty completely.
- Delete all LinkedIn Connections and related data: Removes every connection from your Lime along with all associated data - notes, activity logs, tags, segments, everything. Your Lime connection list becomes completely empty.
Critical reminder: These deletions are permanent. There is no undo. Double-check before clicking any Data Management action.
